These would be accessable in Chapter 4 via boat of course but to reviel the rest of the massive maps you would need the other chapters... I think thats a great branch to hold out there for new players to want to play all that other content. It would not be long before they would be looking for all the other chapters to fill out their maps...

Just a thought... Not sure if this concept is coming in Nightfall or not but I would love to see it happen to encourage more multi chapter operability on the engine.
I think if they did that, it would be something like "mini-chapters" which would expand on current chapters you have. These would have to be expansions, because I doubt you could make a stand alone game that expanded on previous chapters.

Personally, I think the next chapter will be something fantasy themed, because somewhere (I can't find where but I know I read it somewhere), they said they will be willing to make a fantasy setting if the player base wants it. I think maybe they meant they are beggining to make it already and were giving us a hint. This could easily have Orr (its underwater. How would we get to it if its not in a fantasy like chapter? It could be right below tyria so its not accually part of prophecies or something) and floating castles and many other things.

If its not a fantasy themed thing, then I have no clue at all of what it would be.

I'm hoping alongside you, Ingram. I've always wanted this, and it seems it'll be a break from the norm. The addition of more skills for chapter specific classes could also be introduced in this "true" expansion so that they dont fall behind.

It's been hinted that some upcoming chapters may be "out of this world"

Guild Wars: Prophecies Revisited ( Basically the same game, but they just added the word " again " after every sentence )

I could see them revisit a Tyria positioned sometime later in the "future." See what the remaining hords of the undead are doing, as well as all those darn Char. You could go back and forth between areas using magical "time portals" instead of boats. Say there's be a portal in... lets call it "New Ascalon City" which would lead to our "Old Ascalon." The areas would be totally seperated, and you wouldn't be able to get to the others without the portals, this way, if you had the new chapter and not chapter I, you wouldn't be able to get to "old Tyria."

PS: Could be called Guild Wars: Resolutions

I see it now... the new classes:

"Speller" - your skills are all letters or symbols, and you get damage bonuses when you chain longer words togeather! Its like scrabble, guild wars style!

"Mathematician" - Your attributes: Subtraction (Direct Damage), Addition (Healing), Algebra (Hexes) , and Calculus (Conditions). It would clearly be the master class!

So like if someone buys.. Nightfall but not Prophecies, they should be able to take a small tutorial on Prophicies, but be unable to play the entire game until they actually BUY it?

Sorry off-topic, insanely curious.

I hope it's Viking/Nordic. But I wonder do they take a break from GW after Nightfall and work on Tabula Rasa. If you don't know what Tabula Rasa is then here is a link (The text is in finnish)."Erittäin odotettu massiivimoninpeli Guild Warsin tekijöiltä. Tällä kertaa liikutaan scifistissä tulevaisuuden tunnelmissa. Tarkemmat tiedot lähempänä julkaisua." The site says that and it means "Highly awaited Massive Online Game from the makers of Guild Wars. This time the players adventure in Sci-fi future world. More news when closer to release."

*EDIT* Oh I just found a website, dunno if this is the game but it seems cool http://eu.playtr.com/eu/gallery There are pictures and movies, from the movies it looks AWESOME. Great graphics ^^.

Yea basically Carl. What it would do is show the entire map with only the areas you have access too lit up and unlocked. But none of the areas showing from prophecies UNLESS you have it. Same with Cantha... add those chapters and the rest of the map opens up to you naturally. Makes for a lot of new players WANTING to know what the rest of the map has and promoted (by that time) a few year old chapters. Keeps all the chapters populated a little longer.

Just have a linking boat or whatever to that area of the map only. and no linking elsewhere except through normal means. I like that name VicViper Guild Wars: Resolutions since it would basically tidy up the plot lines and fill out the other chapter maps... Then after that we could start venturing into the futuristic concepts of Other worlds or dimensions. Or even the Villain side of the story... IE playing as Charr or Mursatt or Afflicted.

Seriously, I would love to see a Celtic themed land with lots of creatures based on Celtic myths.

Barbarian / Druid seems like obvious choices, but they would work. You could base the Barbarian (or Beserker), off of the Picts even (although, do we really need more blue-skinned naked people running around)?

Then again, it could be just "Celtic themed" with whole new ideas for classes we haven't even considered...

As for a "return to Ascalon" type Chapter, they might be saving that for Guild Wars 2, which has to come out eventually, right? Or, will each Chapter just keep updating the "old" Guild Wars, gradually improving graphics and such.
